- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper to prevent sticking and for easy cleanup.
- Arrange pretzels and add chocolates: Lay the pretzels out on the prepared baking sheet in an even layer. Place one unwrapped Hershey’s Hug on top of each pretzel square.
- Melt the chocolates: Bake in the preheated oven for 4 to 6 minutes, or until the chocolate is shiny and soft but not fully melted. This ensures the chocolates soften enough to stick to the pretzels without losing shape.
- Add M&Ms: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately press one M&M onto each softened chocolate Hug. If the chocolates don’t seem melted enough to hold the M&Ms, return the tray to the oven for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute before adding the M&Ms.
- Cool and serve: Allow the pretzel hugs to cool completely on the baking sheet, which helps the chocolate harden again and secures the M&Ms in place. Once cooled, serve or store them in an airtight container.
