  • Author: Isabella
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

A creamy, cheesy spinach artichoke dip that’s perfect as a warm appetizer or snack. Made with artichoke hearts, spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, and parmesan cheese, this dip is baked until bubbly and golden on top. Serve it with crackers, bread, or veggies for a crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Primary Ingredients

  • 14 ounce can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, loosely measured
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach, thawed and liquid squeezed out

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare it for baking the dip.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, cream cheese, drained spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, minced garlic, and 3/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese. Stir everything together until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Prepare Baking Dish: Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish or a similarly sized glass pie dish to prevent sticking, then transfer the dip mixture into the dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Add Topping: Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the dip for a golden, cheesy crust.
  5. Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until the dip is hot and bubbly. Remove from oven and serve warm with crackers, bread, or your favorite dippers.

Notes

  • Ensure to squeeze out all excess water from the thawed spinach to avoid a watery dip.
  • Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing and a smoother dip texture.
  • You can substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
  • This dip can be prepared in advance and baked just before serving.
  • For added flavor, consider sprinkling some crushed red pepper flakes on top before baking.
