  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Create a festive and fun Melted Snowman Bark featuring creamy white almond bark, crunchy Golden Oreos, colorful gumdrops, and M&Ms decorated to look like adorable snowman faces with candy earmuffs. This no-bake treat is perfect for holiday gatherings and easy to customize with your favorite candies.

Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate Base

  • 1 pound almond bark or white melting chocolate

Snowman Faces and Decorations

  • 12 Golden Oreo cookies
  • 6 red and green gumdrops (cut in half)
  • 1 Twizzler pull and peel (separated into individual pieces)
  • 36 red and green mini M&Ms
  • Black cookie icing
  • Orange cookie icing

Instructions

  1. Melt the Almond Bark: In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the almond bark in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  2. Prepare the Base Layer: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spoon 12 dollops of melted white chocolate evenly across the sheet to mark where each snowman face will be placed. Top each dollop with a Golden Oreo cookie and cover each cookie with more melted white chocolate.
  3. Fill in the Gaps: Pour the remaining melted almond bark around and between the Oreo cookies, filling all gaps to create an even chocolate bark base.
  4. Add Buttons: Place 3 mini M&Ms under each Oreo cookie on the white chocolate to create buttons for each snowman.
  5. Create Ear Muffs: Arrange the halved gumdrops on the sides of each cookie to represent earmuffs. Use pieces of Twizzler pull and peel candy to connect the gumdrops, completing the earmuff look.
  6. Decorate the Snowmen: Use black cookie icing to pipe dots for the eyes and mouths of each snowman. Use orange cookie icing to make small carrot-shaped noses.
  7. Set the Bark: Allow the bark to set at room temperature for a few hours, or speed up the process by refrigerating it for about 1 hour until firm.
  8. Cut and Serve: Dip a knife in hot water, dry it thoroughly, then carefully cut the bark into individual pieces featuring the snowman faces.

Notes

  • For a quicker set time, refrigerate the bark instead of leaving it at room temperature.
  • You can substitute Golden Oreos with regular Oreos if preferred.
  • Ensure the knife is dry before cutting to get clean edges.
  • This recipe is great for gift-giving during the holiday season.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge.
