Scale
Dip Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup chopped dill pickles
- 2 tablespoons pickle juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, sour cream, chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, and chopped fresh dill. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well blended and the dip is smooth and uniform in texture.
- Chill the Dip: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the dip to a covered container. Place it in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours before serving. This resting time allows the flavors to meld and the dip to firm up slightly.
Notes
- Use fresh dill for the best flavor, but dried dill can be substituted in a smaller quantity if needed.
- For a stronger pickle flavor, increase the amount of pickle juice slightly but be careful not to make the dip too runny.
- This dip pairs wonderfully with crackers, fresh vegetable sticks, or as a spread on sandwiches.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
