Brownie Layer

- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
Ganache and Topping
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chocolate shavings
Instructions
- Prepare Brownies: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9”x13” baking pan with parchment paper and grease it with cooking spray. Prepare the brownie mixes according to the package directions, then pour both batters into the prepared pan. Bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool completely before proceeding.
- Make Cream Cheese Layer: In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue beating until the mixture is lump-free. Add vanilla extract and kosher salt, then beat until well combined and creamy.
- Prepare Ganache: Place the chocolate chips in a medium, heatproof bowl. In a small saucepan over medium heat, bring the heavy cream to a boil. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips and let it sit for 5 minutes. Whisk gently until the ganache is smooth and glossy. Let it cool slightly before layering.
- Assemble Brownie Lasagna Layers: Remove the cooled brownies from the pan. Cut them in half widthwise, then cut each piece horizontally to yield four thin brownie layers in total. Place one brownie layer on a serving platter and spread a thin layer of ganache over it. Add about one-third of the cream cheese filling on top, then place another brownie layer. Repeat layering ganache, cream cheese filling, and brownie layers, finishing with a ganache layer on top. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until well chilled and set.
