  • 12 oz. fusilli corti bucati or other short pasta
  • 1 (12-oz.) can evaporated milk (1½ cups)
  • 2 (5.3-oz.) packages Garlic & Herb Boursin cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fusilli pasta, stirring occasionally, until it reaches an al dente texture as per package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta cooking water before draining the pasta.
  2. Prepare the Cheese Sauce: While the pasta cooks, heat the evaporated milk in a large saucepan over medium-low heat until it begins to simmer. Add the Garlic & Herb Boursin packages to the milk and stir continuously until the cheese has completely melted and incorporated, forming a smooth sauce. Continue simmering for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce becomes slightly thickened and glossy. Season the sauce with ½ teaspoon of kosher salt.
  3. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the drained pasta to the cheese sauce along with a splash of the reserved pasta water. Gently stir over medium-low heat, adding additional pasta water as needed to ensure the sauce evenly coats the pasta. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt if necessary. Serve warm.
